Chord For A Cause
CHORD for CAUSE is CORDUSA Raleigh band. The band includes vocalists, instrumentalists including pianists, flutist, guitarist, violinist and a drummer. CHORD for CAUSE band musicians are dedicated to using their talent and platform for a greater cause.
The music they play can range from upbeat and energetic to soothing and reflective. The musicians are passionate and are driven to use music as a force for good, where the sound isn't just an art form but a way to give back and make a difference
Sahasra K. - Singer
Sahasra has been learning music for 10 years and is passionate about performing for a cause. Along with charity activities, she participated in her school chorus and varius levels of music competitions with several organizations. Her talent has been acknowledged with several awards at regional, state, and national music competitions.
Adhithi B. - Singer / Violinist
Adhithi is 14 years old and is currently a freshman attending Enloe High School. She loves singing, playing the violin, and reading.
Sudarshan P. - Singer / Violinist
Sudarshan is a sophomore at Enloe High School. He has been playing the violin since the age of four, and he is familiar with both Western and South Indian classical music. He sees music as a way to bring people together and share joy with one another.
Ishaan K. - Flutist
Ishaan Kancharla is an aspiring hindustani vocalist and a flutist. He has been playing the flute since the age of 8. He is part of his middle school’s symphonic band, has placed first in wake county, 2nd in district and 3rd in state band. He has excited to share the melody of music with the community.
Sameer D. - Guitarist
Sameer loves all type of music and plays a variety of instruments. He loves to make people smile, and when playing the guitar he does that. Sameer has been playing the guitar for just over a year and he expresses his excitement to make others around him smile.
Vishva K. - Drummer
Vishva has been passionate about drumming since he was five -finding rhythm in everything around him. Whether onstage or just jamming, drums have always been his way of expressing energy and creativity,
Dev B. - Pianist
Dev is 13 years old and has been learning piano for the last 7 years. He finds comfort and joy in music. He has been playing at senior residences for the last few years through Scouts. He enjoys Chord For Cause and admires all members of the band for their talent and versatility.
