CORDUSA Raleigh 10th Annual Charity 5K Run
June 21st, 2025
Join the Movement! Support Community Empowerment!
For the past ten years, the Cord Run has brought community members together at WakeMed Soccer Park to raise funds for important causes, and this year marks our 10th annual event. This year, the proceeds will benefit the Wake County Women’s Shelter and development initiatives in rural India.
The Cord Run is a celebration of community service, promoting unity and support for both youth and women. We are proud to host this event, which not only helps raise important funds for both local and international causes but also empowers participants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need it most.

Who Are We?
We are a secular, non-profit organization dedicated to fostering sustainable community programs that promote holistic welfare.
At CORDUSA Raleigh, we serve individuals without regard to race, religion, color, gender, or nationality. Our mission is to facilitate integrated and sustainable social support initiatives in local communities and across the Indian subcontinent, emphasizing self-empowerment and enrichment.
We believe in fostering a bond of love and understanding, promoting a process of sharing that enriches both the giver and the receiver. Our esteemed partner, CORD (Chinmaya Organization for Rural Development) in India and Sri Lanka, has been making a transformative impact, one life at a time, for over three decades.
We are a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit organization.
The CORDUSA Raleigh Youth Ambassadors program empowers our youth to engage in impactful community service, fostering leadership and compassion through activities like highway cleanups, food bank volunteering, and intergenerational bonding. It provides opportunities for youth to address local and global needs while building a sense of community and social responsibility in a fun way!
